Informative and Boring

While incredibly thorough and informative, Issue's In Political Theory is probably the driest text book I've read in college. The writing could not be more boring and disengaged from its audience. Most students reading this will be 18 years old, and most will find it tedious and difficult to get through. The text is hardly broken up between pages to aid the eye in reading from one paragraph to the next. The author uses an extensive vocabulary, seemingly for the sake of wordiness, and to slap the Oxford name on the spine. There are literally no visual aids to assist in the learning process. I do not recommend, and feel sorry for you if your professor chooses this for their curriculum.
