Just like a pulsed plasma blast, Linda Kay Daniels can be devastating. Bright, beautiful and almost normal, she's anything other than uncomplicated. Finding her own path, her balance, Linda continues to bump up against trouble on a galactic scale. Aliens have been discovered, they wish to disrupt, divide and conquer the human race. Linda Kay, just doing her best, keeps disrupting there plans .Marked for termination, Linda must go into hiding and as it so often does when following Linda Kay around the Galaxy, trouble follows right along with her. Trains, planes, automobiles and of course space craft are just a part of this epic chase across the Galaxy.
While a SciFi series, this story ( Yes I've read them all ) the science feels more like a lesser backdrop. The social and emotional growth of the main character is primary. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, she is an engaging realistic and emotional character. I simply enjoyed the first offering more. Still it is an enjoyable read.

A good read for everyone

This third book in the Linda Kay Daniels series is a very good book. Infiltration is different than the previous two books, as it is not set completely on a Starship. Instead, Infiltration follows Linda Kay as she dodges assassins employed by the Aliens introduced in Lost Colonies. Linda Kay hops from one difficult life threatening situation after another. Most of the action takes place on Earth, with trips to different planets in our Solar System. The young heroine struggles to balance her childhood instilled morals with real world reality. Will admit I passed up the Linda Kay Daniels series time after time because the covers did not grab my attention. Finally read a sample and was hooked.

Great books, needs a better cover.

The one of the few negatives I have about this series is the cover art or lack thereof, I really enjoyed the story but would have like the story to be more involved in the final so to speak, most of the big Fights/clean ups are written out, the hero gets the info to whoever needs it to save the day chapter ends, then you hear about what happened 2nd hand, Oh we wiped out the fleet, we crushed the alien menace but the books don't cover the events. Just found it somewhat odd.
I enjoyed the characters and found the story well written had been looking for a good sci-fi space series and read all 3 books in this one over the weekend and am looking forward to more.
